Traffic Light Batteries Worth Hundreds Stolen In Niton

Thefts of traffic light batteries on the Isle of Wight have prompted a police investigation.

HSS Hire Traffic Management says batteries, valued at £560, were taken overnight last night (Tuesday into Wednesday).

They are said to have been stolen from the firm's site on Newport Road, Niton. 

It's the second incident in the last few weeks, HSS Hire said in a tweet.
