A teenage learner driver and their supervising passenger were arrested on suspicion of drug-driving last night (Monday) after being stopped by police officers in Binstead.
Officers stopped a black Ford Fusion on Binstead Hill in Ryde at 6.25pm.
A 17-year-old male from East Cowes was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and a 37-year-old female from East Cowes was arrested on suspicion of aiding or abetting drug driving.
Both have been released under investigation.
