Island Roads says flooding has caused damage to the carriageway and the closure is to allow for repairs to be carried out.

A diversion will affect Coach Lane, Rowborough Lane, High Street, The Bull Ring, New Road, Hornsey Rise, The Mall, Bullys Hill, Brading Down Road, Ashey Road, East Ashey Lane and West Lane.
