Waverley To Make Rare Appearance In Ryde As Steaming Season Underway

The world's last seagoing paddle steamer is coming back to the Solent - and once again, it'll be making a visit to the Isle of Wight.

For the next three weeks only, Waverley will be offering a variety of cruises along the South Coast and round the Isle of Wight. It's stops will include Southampton, Portsmouth and Yarmouth - beginning tomorrow (1st September) - and Ryde.

Captain Dominic McCall, at the helm of the magnificent paddle steamer, expressed his excitement, saying:

"The entire crew and I are eagerly anticipating the South Coast and Isle of Wight sailings.

"The overwhelming success of our 2022 cruises, and the tremendous support we've received from both passengers and local communities fuel our enthusiasm to keep Waverley sailing.

"We can't wait to share the magic of Waverley with everyone once again."

Passengers have a wide variety of cruises to choose from including the ever-popular cruise around the Isle of Wight. Waverley will also steam along Dorset's stunning Jurassic Coast, providing breathtaking views of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

As the vessel ventures through the sparkling waters of the Solent, passengers can explore the charming town of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight or spend time in the coastal resort of Swanage.

Additionally, after nearly a decade, Waverley will make a triumphant return to Ryde on Tuesday 5th September.

Tickets are available to book online at waverleyexcursions.co.uk.
