There was no access to Ventnor for around two hours after the only route into the town was closed by a crash this morning (Friday).
Police and paramedics responded to Whitwell Road at about 7:30am after the Honda CBR125 collided with a Mazda Bongo.
Officers described the crash as serious but managed to reopen the road by 8:40am.
It's understood the motorcyclist was taken to hospital though there's been no update on their condition.
