Isle of Wight Police have confirmed that two teenagers have been detained following an alleged incident involving a knife on a Southern Vectis bus.
Officers stopped the bus on Ventnor High Street on Sunday night following reports that a boy had been threatened.
A 17 year old was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill, while a 15 year old was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife.
