A significant landslip has caused closure for one of the Island's rural roads today (Monday).
There is a landslide at the top of Shorwell Shute making it impassable.
Island Roads says it is arranging an inspection of this area and will be discussing the issue with the landowner.
A spokesperson for Island Roads said:
"We will keep you updated of developments.
"Please continue to take extra care on the network while conditions remain wet."
