Pet Shop Boys, S Club And Suede Among Isle Of Wight Festival Saturday Highlights

Pet Shop Boys and Suede headlined Saturday night at The Isle of Wight Festival 2024, with other notable performances from the likes of S Club and The Pill also taking centre stage.

As the sun set over Seaclose Park, Pet Shop Boys delivered a spectacular set, filled with iconic hits including West End Girls, It’s A Sin and Being Boring.

Over at the Big Top, and ten years since their last appearance on the Isle, Suede put on a thrilling show, performing a special tune Pantomime Horse from their album ‘Dog Man Star’ which celebrates 30 years since its release this year.

Playing their first ever festival, S Club played hit after hit for the crowd in the afternoon sun, including infectious pop tunes Reach, S Club Party and Don’t Stop Movin’.

Island band The Pill gave a bodacious and high energy account of themselves on the River Stage immediately afterwards.

While they gave fans old and new a taste of 'jank' punk, chart-topper Jessie J captivated the audience with hits including Price Tag, Laserlight and closing her set with pop anthem Domino on the Main Stage.

Blossoms also performed on the Main Stage with a vibrant set, perfect for a Saturday afternoon in the sunshine.

Meanwhile, over at the Big Top, Eurovision 2024 winner Loreen enthralled crowds with hit tunes such as Tattoo.

Sunday will provide a phenomenal final night with a headline set on the Main Stage from Green Day.

Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems, Simple Minds, Nothing But Thieves, Zara Larsson, Mcfly and many more will also perform.
