Delays around Yaverland and Sandown are set to continue - due to the Morton Common road closure and temporary traffic lights.
Morton Common - between Sandown and Brading - is closed again today, due to icy conditions.
Motorists are having to divert via Yaverland - which has temporary traffic lights - which is leading to long tailbacks along Culver Parade.
Now, Island Roads has said that Morton Common won't reopen until temperatures rise and the ice melts.
The main road through Langbridge at Newchurch has now reopened.
Buses are still being diverted.
Due to the ongoing closure of Morton Common and issues in Yaverland, routes 2 & 3 buses are having to divert from Sandown via Lake, Arreton and Brading Downs to reach Tesco. At Tesco, all buses from Sandown will terminate.

A shuttle bus is in operation between Tesco and Ryde.
A spokesperson for Island Roads told Isle of Wight Radio:
"Morton Common is currently closed as a through road on safety grounds, as the floodwater that came onto the highway earlier this week has now turned to ice.
"We will re-open the road as soon as it is safe to do so, but this does, of course, depend on temperatures rising.
"In the meantime, traffic is being diverted via Yaverland where there are ongoing important utility works which are, unfortunately, adding to delays.
"Other local road closures that were necessary because of the recent heavy rain, including at Langbridge, Newchurch, have now been lifted.
"We appreciate local frustrations caused by the closure of Morton Common, but safety is our priority, and it is simply not possible to open the road at this stage."
