Newport's Goldcrest Close Christmas Lights Are Back For 2022

A stunning Christmas lights display at a Newport home - which has raised thousands of pounds for charity - is back for 2022.

The incredible display - which takes months to put together - will include reindeer, snowmen, Christmas trees, Christmas puddings, shooting stars and snowflakes.

Last year, more than £3,000 was raised for charity.

Matt Whitham, who works tirelessly to put on the display, told Isle of Wight Radio:

"We are back with our biggest display yet!. Our lights will be shining bright every night from the December 1-31, between 4.30pm and 8.30pm.

"We look forward to welcoming all our visitors old and new.

"Our charities this year are The Wessex Cancer trust and IOW Samaritans. They are both very worthy causes that do amazing work on and off the Island."
