Posting on Facebook, Isle of Wight Police said:
"Officers have been hunting, searching and scouring the Island all evening and we can update that a 27 year old from Ryde has been arrested for burglary and is spending the night secure in our cells.
"It's been a busy day on the Island today so now that all the property has been recovered and the suspect is in custody I think its time to head home and grab some sleep before doing it all."
