The Island's real ale lovers have also been voting for their favourite tipple.

Speaking of the Travellers Joy's win, CAMRA's Tim Marshall said:

"I think it's the faces behind the bar and the quality of their beer that makes them so popular.

"The two people that run it not only serve great ale and provide a great atmosphere, they also do a lot for the local community."

He told Isle of Wight Radio he sees signs of recovery in the Island's pub sector, following a "difficult" few years because of the pandemic:

"We're still recovering — there are several pubs which close for certain days of the week, but there is optimism that the industry is picking up after some challenging times."
