An Isle of Wight musician is hoping his football-themed Christmas song will hit the back of the net with fans.
On a budget of just "one pint of Guinness", Islander Liam Hodge has penned 'World Cup for Christmas'.
The singer-songwriter performs in band Dead Perrys and Weeks.
He said the song is a "bit of fun" but he'd love for it to go to number one!
He said:
"I have recently recorded a song titled 'World Cup for Christmas' with the help of a couple of other Island musicians and some locals from the Falcon Ryde.
"It's is currently on Youtube and will hopefully be on all streaming sites soon."
