An investigation is underway after a man suffered injuries to his head in an alleged assault in Newport.
Police say they received reports of an incident Church Litten, at just after 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday).
A man in his 50s is said to have sustained minor injuries to his head.
Officers attended the scene and found him on Medina Avenue.
They say investigations continue.
