Help Isle Of Wight Animal And Wildlife Charities Receive A Share Of £50,000

Animal and wildlife charities on the Isle of Wight could scoop a share of £50,000 — with your help.

The "5 days, 10 charities" initiative is offering an animal and wildlife special draw, which will see the ten charities with the most nominations receive £5,000 each.

Nominations can be made from next Monday (April 17) and will remain open until Friday April 21.

A spokesperson for the Benefact Group, which runs the draw, said:

"To support the incredible work that so many charities do to support animals and wildlife in need, our first special draw of the year will award £5,000 to ten charities working in this area."

Isle of wight charities eligible for nomination include:

  • The Donkey Sanctuary (Wroxall)
  • Monkey Haven (Newport)
  • The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (Sandown/Yaverland)
  • RSPCA Godshill Animal Centre

The draw opens on Monday April 17 at 8am and can be accessed via this online link.
