Gold For Isle Of Wight's Zac At British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships

An Isle of Wight swimmer has added another medal to his impressive tally.

Zac Lacey took home gold in the T21 Men’s 200m Butterfly at the first-ever British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships.

More than 130 swimmers, aged between 10 and 50, competed at the event, which was held in Crawley.

It's been a couple of successful months for Zac, who also claimed gold at the World Championships in Portugal last month (October).

In 2016, the 22-year-old scooped Sporting Star Award at Isle of Wight Radio's Child of Wight Awards.
