An Isle of Wight holiday let business is looking to expand — by knocking down a former cattery
Cooks Castle Farm, off of St John’s Road in Wroxall, is home to holiday lets, stables and pet-sitting facilities.
Owner, Mr A Palmer, is seeking permission to demolish a redundant cattery building, replacing it with two two-bed properties, because he says demand is high for self-catering.
Planning documents say substantial investment would be required to refurbish the building for it to be used by animals.
