"The water level in the Eastern Yar remains very high. At Alverstone, the level is now slowly falling. This follows a night of mostly dry weather. Out of bank flooding affecting gardens, roads and access tracks is expected in the Upper Yar Valley throughout today.

"At Sandown, the level is slowly rising. Minor flood impacts will be affecting Golf Links Road and Moreton Common Road. Ditches around Fort Holiday Park will struggle to drain.

"From 1.30pm this afternoon, the river could come close to flooding the bottom of gardens at Sandown Bridge. Land at River Park Caravan Park may be flooded. The level at Sandown will not peak until around 4pm this afternoon.

"From today until Wednesday, showers are forecast. During this time, we expect the river to continue falling, but it will remain very sensitive to further rain.
