Fire crews from Ryde, Sandown and Newport have responded to a property fire in Ryde this evening (Monday).

The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service says it was alerted to the incident on Pellhurst Road at 8.58pm.
The fire is now understood to be out but crews remain on scene.

One person has been left in the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
