Emergency services are at the scene of a crash near Fishbourne this afternoon (Tuesday).
Isle of Wight Radio listeners say Fishbourne Lane/Elenors Grove is closed.
The incident has happened near Quarr Abbey.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Hampshire Constabulary are in attendance.
Southern Vectis says there are lengthy delays on its routes 4 and 9.
Drivers are also reporting long delays heading past Firestone Copse, as motorists seek an alternative route.
