A cyclist has been injured after a suspected 'hit and run' incident in Newport this morning (Tuesday).
Police were called at 7.54am to reports of a collision on Manor Crescent involving a bicycle and a van.
Police have confirmed that the van did not stop at the scene.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson has confirmed the cyclist has been taken to hospital for treatment.
The matter is under investigation.
