Crown Court Date For Sandown Man Accused Of 21 Child Sex Offences

An Isle of Wight man accused of 21 serious child sex offences has had his case sent to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.

Joshua Pelling, from Avenue Road, appeared before magistrates this morning (Tuesday).

He stood accused of three counts of causing/inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity. He faces another four counts of causing/inciting a girl over 13 to engage in sexual activity.

He is also charged with six counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child.

Mr Pelling is also facing five charges of taking an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, and three counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.

The charges relate to incidents between 2015 to 2019.

The 35-year-old has been granted unconditional bail to appear for his hearing on October 3.
