A crash is causing lengthy delays on the main road through Merstone this afternoon (Wednesday).
Emergency services are in attendance near Merstone Lane.
Isle of Wight Radio listeners say it's happened at Crouchers Cross, at the junction with East Lane.
Police are at the incident.
Drivers are urged to divert through Godshill.
