A medical incident at Tennyson Down saw the Coastguard Helicopter land on the Isle of Wight this afternoon (Thursday).
The coastguard helicopter — from St Athan in Wales — received an initial call to assist an individual at 1pm.
Ventnor and Needles Coastguard Rescue Teams were subsequently sent to the scene, along with the ambulance service.
The casualty was reportedly left in the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
