
Two shouts in the space of a few hours kept Cowes RNLI crews busy last night (Thursday).
Shortly after attending a fundraising event, the lifeboat was called to an unconscious woman aboard a yacht.
Two medically-trained members of assisted the casualty, before leaving her in the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
SHOUT - upon leaving our fundraising event, we were tasked to attend a yacht with an unconscious female onboard. We immediately put two casualty care trained crew onboard and assessed the casualty. Transferred to @OFFICIALIOWAS. @VentnorCRT also in attendance. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/fP6L8Hq8k5

Ventnor Coastguard who also attended the incident, helped with the next shout.
Both rescue teams were tasked to assist police in the search for a missing person.
They were stood down shortly afterwards.
