A number of beach huts have been broken into and vandalised in Sandown.
A crowbar - left at the scene - is thought to have been used to gain access, near Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat.
It’s another blow to the owners of the huts, following a heavy recent cliff fall which damaged some of the huts and caused them to shift forward.
One of the owners told Isle of Wight Radio:
“Luckily, it doesn’t seem that much has been taken, but a few things have gone.
“It’s one of the huts that has been shifted and damaged by the recent cliff falls - so it’s a bit of a mess inside.
“It’s just mindless vandalism!”
