A 19-year-old from Sandown has been arrested after police seized five bags of suspected cocaine, which were found in a sock during a stop and search.
A car was pulled over along Brading High Street at around 2am this morning (Wednesday).
A search was carried out and suspected drugs were found and seized by officers.
A 19-year-old man, from Sandown, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
He remains in custody.
