One New Coronavirus Case Recorded On Isle Of Wight

Just one case of coronavirus has been recorded in today's (Wednesday's) Isle of Wight figures.

The Island's rolling rate now stands at 21.2 100,000. The UK average is 28.6.

The rate is used to measure patterns or trends in the Government's coronavirus figures over a period of seven days.

Since the start of the pandemic, 6,764 cases have been registered here.

In total, 288 people have now died on the Isle of Wight after testing positive for the illness.

Three more people died in the community here, as previously reported.

When combining both first and second doses, there have been 106,895 jabs on the Island.
