Nazi Tattoos Lead To Axing Of 'The Chop' Featuring Isle Of Wight Woman

Annie Wrenn

The new TV show called 'The Chop' - where an Isle of Wight woman featured in one episode - has been axed.

The Sky History show, which aimed to crown Britain's best woodworker has been scrapped because one of the contestant's tattoos appeared to have links to Nazis and white supremacists.

Professional woodworker, Annie Wrenn, who lives in Bembridge was due to feature in it, as exclusively reported.

The program, which was hosted by comedian Lee Mack has been pulled after one episode while an "investigation" into the offensive tattoos is carried out.

Social media users highlighted the fact that contestant Darren Lumsden's tattoos on his head had links to white supremacy after watching the promotional clip.

A spokesperson for Sky History Channel  said:

"While we investigate the nature and meaning of Darren's tattoos we have removed the video featuring him from our social media, and will not be broadcasting any episodes of The Chop until we have concluded that investigation

"Sky History stands against racism and hate speech of all kinds."
