Katie Melua And Tom Allen To Appear At Robin Hill

Top entertainment and big stars return to the Isle of Wight this summer at Robin Hill’s new event, The Woodland Sessions.

The event, between July 15-17, is a series of intimate outdoor concerts, taking place in the park’s unique Woodland Amphitheatre - the Island’s largest seated venue. It's being billed as ‘exceptional talent in an exceptional setting’.

Kicking off the line-up is Woodland Sessions COMEDY. Hosted by Tom Allen and held on the evening of Thursday July 15, the night stars top comedians Rich Hall, Seann Walsh and Maisie Adam.

Friday July 16 will see Woodland Sessions CHILLED, featuring international star Katie Melua performing a stunning and exclusive acoustic set.

Finishing off the run on Saturday July 17 is Woodland Sessions PARTY with the UK’s biggest 90s dance covers band and festival favourites, Rhythm Of The 90s, getting the summer party started!

Gates open at 6.30pm and all evenings will start with drinks at the beautiful Woodland Ponds. The main show will take place in the seated Amphitheatre, and conclude with after parties in Robin Hill’s beautifully illuminated woodland.

Park Manager, James Crofts, said:

“We’ve all been starved of live entertainment in the last year so, as we embark on something more like normality, we wanted
to treat the Island and our guests to something very special, combining the highest quality entertainment with our beautiful woodland environment.”

Co-promoter, Keith Penny, of new Island-based events company, with a difference, said:

“Katie Melua has a stunning voice and is a hugely successful artist of international stature, so we’re delighted to have secured this exclusive acoustic set for our shows.

"Along with a line up of four of the very best in stand up, the ultimate 90s party band, and the gorgeous setting, The Woodland Sessions are a perfect way to spend a summer’s evening - or several summer evenings!"

Capacity is limited to under 1,000 per night and all shows will comply with the latest COVID regulations. From June 21, this should mean there
is no need for social distancing. However, should the roadmap change and this still be required, the evenings will go ahead with a socially distanced
‘picnic style’ concert in Robin Hill’s open-air valley.

Tickets available at 10am on Friday June 11: www.robin-hill.com
