Isle of Wight Beach Soccer Team

The Isle of Wight's Beach Soccer side have become the Men's Champions of England.

In what was the first Men's National League Super Finals in two years, the side dominated proceedings to beat Eastleigh in the final.

The event took place over the weekend in London's Loxford Park.

Goals for the Island came from: Scott Lawson x2, Reanu Grossett x2, Tommy Jackson, Jaz Camara, Aaron Clarke and Nathan Demitrius Franklin.

Organisers said:

'The Isle of Wight Skippered by England’s Caymen Collins were just to strong for all other teams this season seeing them dominate from start to finish and bolstered by a full squad with the key introduction of England teammate Aaron Clarke recent shortlisted in the world best men’s BSWW players along with a team full of youngsters from the IWBSA youth development leagues with Callum Pye-Poulter, Charlie Millward, Tom Gradvoinet and Dexter Collins winning their first national league titles and local London player Nathan Demitrius Franklin getting his hand on his first trophy too.'
