Emergency Crews Called To Ryde Incident

Emergency crews have been called to an incident involving a motorcyclist in Ryde today (Tuesday).

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance on St John's Hill.

They were called for 'scene safety' at 12.01pm.

Police and the ambulance service are also on scene.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson told Isle of Wight Radio:

“We were called at 11.38am today (Tuesday) to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Warwick Street, Ryde, resulting in the motorcyclist being injured.

“We are assisting the other emergency services in dealing with this incident which is ongoing.”
