A woman has been banned from driving for two years after being caught drink-riding an E-Scooter on the Isle of Wight.
Kyah Jordan, from New Milton, was stopped in Newport last month (December).
Magistrates said the E-Scooter was classed as a "motor vehicle".
The 20 year old was banned from driving for two years and given a community order.
It's thought she is one of the first people in the country to be charged with the offence of being in control of an E-Scooter while under the influence of alcohol.
Beryl E-Scooters are being trialled on the Island, at locations including Ryde and Newport.
