Coronavirus: NO New Cases In Today's Isle Of Wight Figures

No new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in today's (Monday's) Isle of Wight figures.

The Island's rolling rate has risen to 15.5, per 100,000, however. The UK average is 56.4.

When looking at Upper Tier Local Authorities, the Island ranks as the seventh lowest in the country for seven-day averages.

The Government's Lower Tier Local Authority list shows the Island is the 22nd lowest.

The rate is used to measure patterns or trends in the Government's coronavirus figures over a period of seven days.

Since the start of the pandemic, 6,727 cases have been registered here.

In total, 280 people have now died on the Isle of Wight after testing positive for the illness.

No deaths have been registered in today's NHS England figures.
