An 11-year-old cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car in Cowes.
Cowes Primary School posted to say the boy "will be ok".
Hampshire Constabulary was called to reports of a collision at 8.43am this morning (Thursday).
It happened on Park Road, near to Cowes Primary.
The 11-year-old was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, according to police. He is not thought to have suffered any serious injuries.
Headteacher Stephanie Praetig thanked those on scene who helped.
